Abstract selection process

Abstracts submitted for presentation will be reviewed by an international panel of experts.

The submitter will be notified of the acceptance or rejection of the abstract in the first half of November 2023 .

Abstracts can be selected for one or both of the following presentation formats:

  • Oral presentation: The abstract is selected for an oral presentation of 10-12 minutes, in the appropriate session of the congress.
  • Flash Poster: The abstract is selected for a 1,5 minutes oral presentation in main auditorium. 1 slide only.
  • Poster presentation: The abstract is selected for presentation in a poster format. Posters are grouped by topic and are displayed throughout the congress in the dedicated poster room.

Poster size: H = 1.50, W = 0.90M, portrait mode.

If a selected presenting author cannot attend, he/she should assign a substitute and inform the SMA Europe’s Research Manager , [email protected],  of this replacement in due time.

Posters can be viewed by participants during coffee breaks, lunch and poster sessions. Please note that two formal poster sessions have been organised.

All accepted abstracts will be published in the congress book.
